Terms of Use — dualog
Last updated: 26 July 2026
By using the dualog app (the “App”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. What this is
dualog is a private space for two: chat, schedule, key dates, goals, tasks, lists and couple profiles. One user connects with exactly one partner.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your email and a one-time code (or through Google/Apple).
- You are responsible for keeping access to your email and account secure.
- Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone else.
3. Rules of use
You may not use the App for unlawful activity, post other people’s personal data without their consent, disrupt the service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to other people’s data.
4. Your content
The content you create (messages, notes, lists, goals and so on) belongs to you. You grant us the technical ability to store it and show it to you and your partner so the App can work. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
5. Paid access and subscriptions
What is free. Using the App on your own is free, with no feature limits.
What is paid. Shared features — chat between the two of you, shared goals, tasks assigned to your partner, the shared calendar and your partner’s profile — require payment. One payment covers the couple: one partner pays, and access opens for both.
Trial period. 7 days free from the moment you switch to couple mode. When the trial ends without payment, shared features close; your personal data stays with you and you can keep using the App on your own. The trial is offered to a couple once.
Plans. A monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and the one-off “Happily ever after” payment. Current prices for your country are shown in the App before purchase — they are set by the app store.
Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The store charges you within the 24 hours before a new period begins. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not inside our App.
“Happily ever after”. This is a one-off payment, not a perpetual purchase: access lasts as long as your couple exists in the App. If you break up, access for the couple ends. A new couple requires a new payment.
Breaking up. If a couple splits, the partner who paid keeps ads turned off: after the “Happily ever after” payment — indefinitely; after a monthly or yearly subscription — until the end of the period already paid for. No partial refund is issued for the unused remainder. The other partner moves to free solo use.
Payments and refunds. Payments are handled by the app store (App Store or Google Play), not by us. Refunds follow the rules of the relevant store, and we cannot process them ourselves.
Price changes. We may change prices. For a subscription already paid for, a new price takes effect no earlier than the next renewal period, and you will be notified in the way the store’s rules require.
6. Availability and beta status
The App is in testing. Errors, interruptions and data loss are possible. Features may change or be switched off. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation during the beta.
7. Disclaimer of warranties and liability
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses connected with use of the App, including loss of data.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time under “Settings → Account”. We may restrict access if these terms are breached.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this link.
